Low voltage battery V10+
The main technical advantage of the V10 Plus model is its sophisticated cell heating. This heating is not just an ordinary heating coil, everything is cleverly controlled by the BMS to actively protect the battery from damage caused by low temperatures. When the temperature drops below a critical limit, the heating is automatically activated, keeping the cells at the optimal operating temperature and ensuring efficient charging and discharging even in freezing weather. This eliminates the risk of reduced performance or even battery damage that could occur when operating a standard V10 in low temperatures. This makes the Voltsmile V10 Plus ideal for installations in unheated spaces such as garages or utility rooms, and in areas with cold climates.

*Batteries with a “+” designation such as V10+, W1+ share the basic hardware components with their standard counterparts. What sets them apart, however, is the integration of built-in heaters. These batteries are recognizable by their distinctive blue color and the addition of a “+” symbol. This technology offers additional extra advanced functionality through the use of heating technology. This feature proves to be especially valuable in environments where temperature fluctuations can affect battery performance. The heaters increase the durability and lifespan of the battery in colder conditions, ensuring consistent and reliable operation. Whether it is the V10+ or other variants bearing the “+” symbol, users can expect not only the basic capabilities of the standard versions, but also the added benefit of temperature management for increased reliability in various operating environments.

This battery system has a “+” version* to be usable in extremely cold conditions. With the built-in heating elements of the “+” version, the operating temperature can drop to -20° C.
